I had partial tear to my acl freedom sports has been amazing with the progression in getting me walking and being able to do things like normal again I'm extremely satisfied with the help I have received thankyou so very much for your help very much appreciated

I've been coming to see Ross for the best part of a decade. When I first saw him, he was able to identify a mystery injury that I had, that others couldn't and I haven't looked back since. Ross and the team at Freedom sports are extremely dedicated to helping their clients. Everyone is extremely professional and friendly, from Ross, to other physio's and their receptionist staff. The culture is amazing and the staff never make you feel like you're asking a silly question.The new location in Mooroolbark, particularly at the front desk, will make you feel like you're walking into a day spa. It's a relaxing, calm and warm environment, which are the characteristics that you need when you're depending on gaining treatment. There has never been an occasion where I walked out feeling worse than I did when I walked in.I highly recommend!

I came in during lockdown with pain in my neck and upper back due to too much Zoom and online fitness classes.I worked with Ross on firstly reducing pain and then increasing strength.My program was well described with steps for me to achieve pain free neck.I heartily recommend Freedom Sports Medicine in helping me become pain free with the strength to go through my daily life.

I highly recommend Ross at Freedom sports medicine. I have seen many specialists in the past to achieve a pain free day. After seeing Ross for 12 months he was the key that unlocked my pain. With rehabilitation, commitment and Ross as my Physiotherapist it was all due to Freedom. A perfect name to call their business because that's exactly how I feel right now. After attending many different practitioners I went to Freedom where Ross did a full analysis of all of my scans. A treatment program was designed and followed and I feel 100% compared to the worn out 40 yr old with crippling hip pain. Even after the first treatment I felt relief. Highly highly recommend but hope I won’t be back as the program has given me the tools to keep strong. Thanks Freedom

Freedom Sports Medicine is definitely a place to visit. I’ve being seeing Ross for many years now with a variety of different injuries. He has always been able to figure out the issue, create a plan to get me back on the court and then given me exercises to strengthen and prevent it from happening again. Freedoms staff have the same energy as Ross they are super friendly, encouraging and positive. You will always leave feeling good and informed about the road ahead!

Severe tension headache for over a week prompted me to see physio Ross Kinsella. He was able to confidently diagnose the issue and provide a treatment plan - in addition to relief of my symptoms within 24 hours. I highly recommend this practice and Ross.

A very high quality place of practice. The physio was very thorough with his treatment plan and transparent with the intended outcome. The therapy provided not only resolved my presenting issue of lower back pain but also equipped me with valuable knowledge on what to do should an injury reoccur. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone searching for a caring practitioner that is capable of preparing a recovery plan that is holistic and empowering in nature.

Ross & the team at Freedom Sports Medicine are fantastic! I've unfortunately had two hip operations for torn cartilage and bone shaving (left and right hips) and both times Freedom Sports Medicine has helped on the road to full recovery. Ross is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and without his support rehab wouldn't have been as easy. Thanks!

Ross at Freedom Sports Medicine is AMAZING! I have seen Ross on and off over the years with different niggles and my experience has always been great. Recently whilst we have been in lockdown I have had a hip niggle and I have been unable to see Ross in person. The clinic has been so flexible to meet my needs and move to zoom virtual apt's. I was a little worried how these would go but I have to say Ross has been incredible! In my first session over zoom he had me do some exercises to establish what the issue was and then gave me some pain relief exercises for a week which were great and did exactly that... relieved the pain in my hip by about 80%. Then we moved onto strengthening exercises in the follow 2 zoom virtual apt's. I can now run again with no pain in my hip. Ross is a caring, compassionate person who has a passion for helping people be at their best. He is also collaborative with other practitioners and looks at the whole person rather than just the niggle. Thank you Ross you are truly one of a kind!

Ross and the team at freedom have been such an amazing support for our family with everyone of us seeing the team for various needs. They have been particularly great during a difficult time following back surgery and I have had such confidence and comfort in them assisting me in the ups and downs of ongoing rehab and recovery. Ross and Jess were awesome in initial diagnosis and confirmed upon MRI. An unusual and rare injury diagnosed promptly and proficiently. Follow up sessions were planned out so my goals were explored and accommodated through appropriate stretching and recovery, moderating into a suitable fitness program to promote best recovery. Five weeks later, I have made progress and achieving ranges of movement which were not previously possible. The pain has been eliminated and set me up to restore my pre injury fitness routine. I can now lift without discomfort and look forward to the next appointment in a month.

Ross is fantastic. He is the first physio to actually eliminate my hip pain and he knew exactly the cause and treats fast and effectively. I had begun to lose hope in relieving my chronic pain and he was able to diagnose me and take it away. Can’t rave about him enough. He is such a positive, happy influence and you leave feeling more energised and motivated to live a happy healthy life. Thanks to the team and their great work at Freedom Sports Medicine!

I play a fair bit of sport and in my mid 60's. Have attended the clinic for several different injuries / issues the most severe being a torn plantar facia. Ross developed a rehab program that has resulted in a full recovery for this injury - in fact it's stronger now. Have full confidence in the team

I Would highly recommend this clinic, as Ross,lovely staff,and practitioners were kind, courteous, and dealt with all my inquiries in a professional manner.Received treatment by Ross for my neck injury. Ross amazing skills and advised exercises that i could do from home Bring me back the normal activities and Gym routine . I honestly couldn’t recommend Freedom Sports Medicine enough! Ross has helped me through my journey and all of the ups and downs! Ross and Sophia have really made me feel like I am part of a family and I will be forever grateful of Ross’s continued belief in me and being about the turn my negative mindset about my osteopenia diagnosis into a positive mindset! Two years since my diagnosis and I have been actively working with Ross to ensure my bones don’t get worse and today I got an updated scan and somehow Ross’s hard work has increased my bone density by 4.4% with strength and conditioning!! With Ross’s mindset, I was able to achieve something I never thought was possible and cannot wait for what the next two years brings! Thank you so much Ross and Sophia!

Ross from Freedom Sports Medicine has helped me recover from an injury that had been plaguing me for over a year. i have just completed my six week glad program with Freedom sports, under Ross, i can not begin to tell you the difference in my problem, i had a doubletear in my Meniscus and after an arthroscope by recovery was very slow and painful, until i was referred to Ross, i now have very little pain in my knee and hip, i am sleeping better and not taking as much medication his program is one i can highly recommend

Thank you to the team at Freedom Sports Medicine! I was amazed by your professionalism and skill. My knee had been hurting for five months when I first met Ross and Jess. It had happened before, but the pain had usually gone away after a week or two. Not this time, and it turned out I had a minuscular tear. After the diagnosis, I’ve been treated by Jess over the last 12-13 weeks to progressively improve the mobility and strength needed to support my knee. Today was my last appointment. Jess experience and knowing when to progress in my program have helped me get back into running and hopefully back into Obstacle Course Racing again soon. I can strongly recommend Jess, Ross and the team at Freedom Sports Medicine!

I have been having treatment from the awesome Jess Black at the Freedom Sports Medicine Centre in Ringwood for the past 4 months for an old elbow injury. Four months later and I am back out surfing better than ever and I have received a great strengthening and conditioning program which I am continuing to use to build core strength and flexibility. We came across Freedom Sports Medicine 5 years ago when our son's Conditioning/Physio through his Elite Development Basketball program was leaving the program and referred Ross to continue our son's Strength and Conditioning to his active sport schedule. Since then the whole team at Freedom Sports Medicine has also attended to our son's podiatry (both orthotics and sport podiatry), myotherapy for muscular stiffness and physiotherapy for injury needs and haven't looked back. They attend our 12yr daughter's dysplasia of the hips and help strengthening and monitoring her hips with her visits and operations RCH over the last 5 years with positive and simple instructions that she feels involved in her recovery and understanding every step. My own experience with the team I cannot fault. Their structured care plan identified MY process up front and enabled MY treatment to be attended to by any team member to help suit MY schedule and educated ME about my injury and how the required rehabilitation is going to benefit ME. This format is absolutely brilliant to make ME accountable for my recovery. Following the plan and doing the rehab work avoided injections. They are the best detectives working out why and resolving! Thank you Freedom Sports Medicine!!!!!!!

Myself, my husband and teenage son have been attending Freedom Sports Medicine on a regular basis for a few years now. Ross and his team are outstanding. Our soreness and or injuries are always pin pointed, well explained causes and very detailed management strategies for improvement. Also our teenage son who plays a lot of soccer is currently seeing Ross for strength and conditioning training to improve his fitness and strength for game performance.

Could not reccomend FSM more highly!I had almost 9 months of seeing doctors and other specialists trying to get a diagnosis from an injury I sustained. First visit to FSM we had a suspected diagnosis and second visit we had a confirmed diagnosis and treatment plan - all because they heard what was being said and did further investigations.The staff are supportive, knowledgeable and friendly.
