3 stretches to ease a stiff hip!

Try out these 3 stretches today to ease your hips NOW!
Hip opener
Lying on a mat on your back, bring both legs to a bend with your feet flat on the floor, bring one leg to cross the other with your ankle bone across the knee. This should create a deep release into the side of your hip, hold this position for 30 seconds – 1 minute.
Repeat this on the other side.
Lunge with resistance band
Attach your resistance band to a secure hold that will not move when tension is applied. Kneeling down on one knee, place the resistance band at the top of your back thigh. Be far enough away from the hold that when in a lunge position, there is tension against the band. Extend your front foot into a lunge, hold for 30 seconds- 1 minute.
Repeat this on the other leg.
Twistie
Lying on your back, bring one leg across the body, using your opposite hand to support/ keep in position. This should give a good stretch into the side and back of your hip.
Hold for 30 seconds – 1 minute. Gently release out of this position back to a neutral spine.
Repeat this on the other side.
