HOW TO EASE YOUR BACK PAIN
Here at Freedom we see a lot of clients suffering from back pain!
I’ve had a lot of questions around back pain, what causes it and how to get long lasting relief.
✨ ✨ So, why am I telling you this? ✨ ✨
Good question, the answer is simple – it is an important topic as most will experience back pain in their life at one point. If you’re suffering with back pain, it’s hard to enjoy your life, in fact it impacts everything!
Back pain can affect your quality family time, your sports and recreation and hinder your ability to concentrate and perform at work. Simple tasks like sitting and getting out of bed can become painful and difficult!
On a personal note, I love it when the clients I treat make successful recoveries from back pain because it opens a world of opportunities for them.
So today, I’m going to share some tips with you on how you can get on top of back pain once and for all.
Here we go:
✅ The first tip that I have for you is to take note of your posture!
The first area where people go wrong is sitting for long periods of time, so make sure you avoid this as it puts stress on your spine. If you’ve been sitting for a while, make sure that you get up and move around or stretch to change up your posture!
Small tweaks in your work environment to help with posture are desk height (Sit to stand desks are amazing for this) and using a supportive chair.
With the right ergonomic posture, you’ll support your spine and decrease the risk of postural pain that is so common in our society.
✅ Tip number two is to address the mobility and flexibility of your spine.
I recommend that what you do is a series of gentle stretching and mobility type exercises daily. You can start off by incorporating a basic routine that is suitable for your needs!
✅Tip number three is to address your core strength and stability.
By addressing your core strength and stability, you are able to protect the spinal structure itself. Once you have improved your spinal mobility and flexibility, it is very important to then progress to strength and control as it is these core muscles that will your keep your spine safe and healthy during all day to day activities.
✅My final tip for you to get on top of back pain once and for all, is to make sure that you have a generally healthy and fit lifestyle.
This includes addressing your diet, ensuring that you get adequate sleep and exercising on a regular basis to keep the body in motion.
What should I do next?
When it comes to back pain, it is incredibly important to tackle it head on and find a lasting solution to live your life pain free! I hope that you find these tips useful and that they can help you on your journey to ease back pain once and for all.
