Why you should get moving this weekend!

How GOOD are holidays and the weekend!!!

I get it, it’s super important to relax over the weekend, get some down time and get some rest. There’s no reason that making sure we get some movement into our rest days can’t be relaxing and joyful!

This is how I get moving on the weekend, long weekends and holidays! ☀️✨????

1. Keep moving your body for 30 minutes a day. Done is better then good!

This could be quick circuit, getting through your rehab exercise or even 30 minutes of dancing around with the kids in the kitchen 😉

2. Do it first thing in the morning before the rush starts, early morning movement can shape the entire day for the better.

Energy creates energy, get your morning started right, go to that morning exercise class, swim, surf or walk

3. Do something you enjoy!

Hike with the family, go for a run, do some yoga, go for a swim, get to that exercise class!

4. It relieves stress, creates endorphins, detoxes you and lifts your mood! 

Moving the body really does make you feel better, your 30 minutes of movement doesn’t have to be full on, a stroll or even gardening will get the body warm and moving.
